Zero-Cost Processing
The zero-cost processing model allows merchants to accept credit card payments without incurring any processing fees. Rather than charging the merchant directly, the partner can either assume full responsibility for the processing cost or shift the cost burden to the end customer.
Zero-cost processing is only available for partners with a 100% revenue share. If you are interested in offering zero-cost processing to your merchants, please reach out to your Sales Rep.
Getting Started
The way a merchant’s billing is configured affects how zero-cost processing is set up. If you’re uncertain of a merchant’s billing configuration, refer to this article.
- If your merchants are configured for Flex Billing, you have full control over the pricing and can choose which fees are set at $0.
- If your merchants are configured for Processor Billing, the fee setup is all-or-nothing, which means you cannot customize which fees are set at $0. Additionally, if your merchants are configured for Processor Billing, your account will need to be manually configured for zero-cost processing.
